Then join researchers to label and analyse responses and see how your voice can make a difference to help plan for future outbreaks.
This is what AVF’s Elena, Alexander and Gladys along with Dr Johanna Riha from the Centre of Governance and Human Rights invited guests to do at the interactive session we presented as part of the Cambridge Science Festival on 24th March 2019. One of the very few social science-focused contribution to the CSF, we drew on the findings of AVF’s Wellcome Trust-funded work in Somalia during the 2017 cholera outbreak, to develop an online experience which allows audiences to explore how interactive radio can be used as a powerful tool to quickly hear from communities during public health epidemics and better plan for future outbreaks.
The interactive tool will soon be hosted on our website to showcase AVF’s interactive radio methodology and its practical contribution to global health.
